About

Engineering leader, API Guru and AI architect with exhaustive experience designing and building scalable platforms that serve millions. Passionate about developer experience, secure API design, and leveraging AI to create intelligent, context-aware systems.

Current Role

AI & API Cloud Platform Solutions Architect at Prudential Financial.

I'm part of the team migrating thousands of APIs from Apigee to Kong — a massive undertaking where success means nobody notices anything changed. My focus is building the tooling, automation, and governance standards that let us move at scale while minimizing collateral damage.

The work I'm most proud of is less visible: unified auth across the enterprise, observability that actually helps teams debug issues, and governance that doesn't slow people down. The goal is making secure, well-designed APIs the path of least resistance — not something developers have to fight for.

Background

The journey from public policy to engineering leadership.

My career has been defined by building platforms that serve millions while maintaining the highest standards of security and reliability. From leading the Open Banking initiative at JP Morgan Chase to architecting global financial transaction systems at DTCC, I've focused on creating developer-first experiences that scale.

What drives me is the intersection of technical excellence and business impact—whether that's enabling billions in payments, serving millions of healthcare users, or building the next generation of AI-powered platforms. I've led teams at Marsh McLennan, ByTandym, Disney/ABC News, and Williams Sonoma, always with a focus on empowering developers and delivering measurable results.

As a graduate of Syracuse University's prestigious Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, I bring a unique perspective to technology leadership—one that values both innovation and societal impact. This foundation has informed my approach to building platforms that not only meet technical requirements but also serve broader organizational goals.
